Senior Software Engineer in Bulgaria

As a Senior Software Engineer at NETSYNO you will be a part of a multinational team building digital products which help people and organizations manage and improve their processes.

NETSYNO is a medium-sized software company with a startup flair, based in Karlsruhe, Germany with a second office in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

Work location:

• Remote work or in an office in Plovdiv (after COVID)
• If you want, you can always visit and stay in our Karlsruhe office
  
  

Having as much knowledge as possible in:

• Python 3 
• Django and Django Rest Framework
• Elasticsearch and NoSQL databases
• SQL (MySQL or PostgreSQL)
• In-memory data stores (Redis)
• Server management (nginx, Gunicorn, uWSGI)
• OS virtualization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Source control (Git, GitLab) and deployment tools (CI/CD)
  

It’s nice if you’re comfortable with these things:

• ReactJS, CSS (SCSS, LESS), HTML
• The German language (not a requirement, we communicate mainly in English)

In this role, you will:

• Work with our team of developers to improve our web-based products and platforms
• Understand client and user needs and take part in managing projects
• Communicate a lot with our developers in Bulgaria and Germany and help them solve complex problems
• Improve our internal processes for software development and design
• Propose and implement new technologies for our products
• Help colleagues improve by giving feedback on their code
• Take part in decision-making about our business strategy and company goals
  

You will need:

• A high level of expertise and knowledge of web-based technologies
• Lots of programming experience, preferably with our tech stack
• Excellent communications skills
• To use Slack and GitLab to organize your work and synchronize with the team
• Good English language skills, it’s a big plus if you know German
• Entrepreneurial spirit, self-direction, ability to prioritize your workload, and drive work to completion
